It’s difficult and expensive to reconfigure a home’s floorplan. If a home does not fit your minimum criteria in terms of number of rooms and the flow of the main living areas, cross it off your list.

The School District
Buyers should visit the school district’s website to get a map of its exact boundaries to avoid any surprises later on.

The Neighbors
Be cognizant of neighboring homes, as they can affect future resale value.
